1. What digital photo frame?

A: It refers to the electronic product which is processed by multimedia chip, and then display the photos stored in the chip on LCD.

2. What is liquid crystal?

A: LCD (Liquid crystal display) display images via liquid crystal materials, and the main material of LCD is liquid crystal.

3. What’s the difference between digital screen and mimic screen?

A: Digital screen receives digital signals, and digital signals is solid and the effect is better; mimic screen receives mimic signals, and mimic signals will be interferenced by surrounding environment, so the transmition will be affected.

4. What is resolution?

A: The amount of pixel consitituted a image. Taking resolution of 640*480 as example, it refers to divide the whole screen into 480 horizontal lines and 640 perpendicular lines. As the above example shows, the higher the resolution of the same display is, the thinner the image is.

5. What is luminance?

A: It refers to the display lighting degree in white picture. The high luminance makes images look colorful. High luminance is an important factor to influence image quality.

6. What is contrast ratio?

A: It is the comparison value between the lightest point and the darkest point. The bigger the contrast ratio is, the color is mor saturated, and the image is stereo. On the contrary, the weak comparison value makes the images look dark and flat.

7. What is wide viewing angle?

A: It refers to the visible range for images. When the up and down, left and right are symmetrical, increase the angles at both sides, and mark the horizon 160 degree and vertical 180 degree; or you can mark left and right ±80 degree, up and down ±80. Visible angles are small, once you change the viewing position slightly, the image is not clear. Because the liquid crystal board possess polarity, thus you can view the images in some certain angles. Viewing angles can be divided into up/down, left/right. Generally speaking, the bigger the viewing angles are, the wider the viewing range is. Even if you change your positions, there is no need to worry that you can see clearly.
