The making procedures of a zipper include thread-making, band-pleating, sewing, modeling, dying and packing.

According to different materials, zippers can be classified into the below sorts:

The commonly-used styles of zippers can be divided into the followings:

1. Closed-end zipper: the bottom stop is pinned, with two top stops on the top, and the zipper is closed when the slider is pulled from up to bottom.

2. Open-end zipper: the bottom stop is inserted pinning fastened, and the top stop is fastened by two stops, and the zipper is closed when the slider is pulled from up to bottom.

3. Zipper with double sliders: there are two inverse sliders on each end. The zipper is closed when the slippers are pulled to each end.

4. O-shaped zipper: there are two inverse sliders, when the sliders are pulled to the middle, the zipper is closed. Each of top and bottom is fastened by a stop.

5. Invisibel zipper: the zipper is hidden on the back of the tape.

6. X-shaped zipper.

2. Top stop: It is the one on the direction warding zipper from closing, usually one or two.

4. Practical length refers to the length from top stop to bottom stop.

For example: the width of nylon teeth 3# zipper is 3.6mm; the width of nylon teeth 5# zipper is 3.6mm; the width of nylon teeth 8# zipper is 8.6mm; the width of nylon teeth 10# zipper is 10.6mm. Thus, there is N36, N56, N86, N106 of nylon teeth zipper.

1. The regular size of nylon teeth 3# zipper include 25mm, 26mm, 28mm (width).

2. The regular size of nylon teeth 5# zipper include 30mm,32mm,36mm (width).

3. The regular size of nylon teeth 8# zipper include 32mm,36mm,38mm,42mm,46mm (width).

4. The regular size of nylon teeth 10# zipper include 40mm,42mm,46mm (width).

Difference Between Ordinary Zipper and RC Zipper

1. Enhancement of stitching between tape and teeth.

2. Strengthen of tape.

3. The zipper is more smooth after the joint part of zipper teeth is polished.
